How does your pore get blackheads
Hi Norma,
Urine damaged skin can be a real discomfort and inconvenience. Our best tips for skin rashes caused by urine contact are:
1. If urine contact occurs, clean the skin and wash it of urine using warm water and a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser
2. After cleansing, pat dry (avoid rubbing so as to avoid aggravating the skin)
3. If cleansing is happening often, apply a moisturiser afterwards to protect the skin from the drying affects of cleansing
If urine is coming into contact with the skin very often, a barrier creams can certainly be used to help protect your skin. However, if urine does come into contact with the skin, cleansing is still advised, even with a barrier cream. If you are looking for a recommendation, we would recommend our QV Baby Barrier Cream, which has a non-sticky, non-greasy formula that is pH-balanced and low-irritant. It is suitable for sensitive areas of the body and has a moisturising base to help rehydrate the skin and prevent moisture loss.
