What is keratosis pillaris?
I have red, bumpy skin under my breasts which has been there for several months. It is not itchy and I don’t use anything but purely natural bodywash. It is not worse during the hot weather (so not heat rash) but no matter what I use on it, it won’t go away. Does anyone have a similar problem and did you fix it? Help, please. (I am 65 years of age).
How do I reduce or remove dark spots on my skin ?
I have recently had an actinic keratosis removed and am now desperately want to get my skin protection right…any advice please?

How does your pore get blackheads
Hi Jenni,
We would highly recommend that you get your GP or Dermatologist to diagnose this, because it could be any one of a number of things.
If it’s not itchy or annoying it could be keratosis pilaris, which is a very common form of dry skin characterised by hair follicles plugged by scale. If it is this we can suggest a number of products to try and keep it under control.
If the area is rubbing on clothing or chaffing, we would recommend trying a cream like Silic 15 or QV Sport Chafing Cream to prevent the friction occurring in the area. Use a wash that is free from possible irritants such as soaps and fragrance including botanicals.
We hope this helps you.
Take care.
Thank you for that – I don’t think it is chafing but the keratosis pilaris would fit the description. Will certainly get back to you after I have had it confirmed to see what you can suggest for it.
You should consult with your near Dermatologist about that. He/She will suggest you what you have to do.
