Interesting to find out ,as it’s so irritating
One product that helps me, depending on how my psoriasis is presenting, is Pinetarsol Bath Oil. This is because the bath oil is really moisturising, I get to soak my torso, (which is hard to treat generally) and when I’m really itchy it eases the itch.
Hello Deborah,
We have several product ranges suitable for management of psoriasis.
The Pinetarsol range has been formulated with pine tar to reduce redness and relieve itching. If the skin is dry, red and itchy then this is the range to use.
The QV range has been specially developed for dry, itchy and sensitive skin where redness is not present.
With dry skin conditions, including psoriasis it is important to avoid soap at all times as this can be irritating and drying for the skin. Our products are soap-free and are designed to help maintain the skin’s natural acid protection instead of removing it as soap can.
EgoPsoryl TA is a soothing corticosteroid-free gel, formulated to help control stable, moderate psoriasis and persistent dermatitis.
If your skin does not respond to these measures please consultant your GP or Dermatologist.
Take care
