Hi there – thanks for your question!
Both QV Wash and QV Gentle Wash are soap-free cleansers for use on sensitive skin, although QV Gentle Wash contains a higher percentage of the humectant glycerin (15% to QV Wash 10%). The formulations differ also in that QV Gentle Wash is a more viscous product, and that QV Wash has a ‘pearlised’ appearance.
Historically QV Wash was the first QV cleanser. After it was noted the formulation had a tendency to thin over time, QV Gentle Wash, a more robust product, was formulated as a proposed replacement for QV Wash. As things panned out, QV Wash was still very popular so it was not discontinued.
